As you can see the trench, sandbags, the hill leading down to the water and the road is all in place. The metal posts you see is an attempt to string barb wire along the edges. I made them removeable so if you do not want them out they come.

I like the idea of the posts, but think you should remove them from the side facing the camera. The series of trenches runs parallel to the canal bank for some distance and the Germans would not have blocked off these trenches with barbed wire.

Here is a close up of the hill with a few broken trees, and bushes. Notice that I have several metal posts in place to string barbed wire on along the hill top.

Please remove the metal posts from the hill top.

On the right you can see the road leading up to the bridge. The entire top is flat for figures. The 88 is not part of the set up.

Here is the road and the curbs on the side of it. What do we do with the empty right hand side. On the pictures this is completly empty and just flat grass area. No buildings, fences or trenches. I can just grass it in and let you fill up the space or we can take some artistic lience here.

Historically, there was a pillbox to the right of the bridge (off the section being modeled). Its use some artistic license and put a pillbox here as shown in the picture.

This would be the view from the gliders. If you do not like the barb wire fence we can replace it with rolled wire like on Bill Moores landscape.

I am presently working on the left hand side of the bridge and I will have pictures up tomorrow. Then we will have to address the water under the bridge.

After removing the metal posts indicated on my previous posts, I would like to reposition the three (3) remaining posts so they are parallel to the front of the "L" shaped trench.

Here is a bunker that I built today for use here. The top is removeable.

Here it is with the top off. You can use it either way. The location can be moved a little one way or another. It will then get a base of some sort that it will sit on and it will hold a pack 40 inside or a few soldiers shooting out.

The location of the pillbox is fine. However, I want to rotate it slightly so the opening is more orientated to a more distant point up the roadway.

These sandbags are in the correct place. Half on and half off the bridge.

Dear Marcus,
We had talked about being able to transport the diorama with the bridge structure removed from the landscaped pieces. I think the sandbag emplacement should remain where you originally indicated (under the paint jar).

Here it is the newly 'unfinished' and landscaped PEGASUS bridge. Well kind of landscaped any way. I have installed the bunker and the back area from the bunker.
I would like to place some rolled wire to the right of the bunker along the back.
Then I will add a few trees and some bushes.

There appears to be an abundace of green on the new section, I have to remove the excess when it is dry.

The woodpile that is built in the back is permanent, and the barrels on the bunker are also built in, but the boxes are loose.
