In my new dio I used figures of both manufacturers TG and K&C The scene is set in Bures-sur-Dives, a little village in the Calvados region ( Normandy)British paras, belonging to the 8th para bat, have arrived in the village of Bures -sur-Dives, not far from Varaville. Their mission: Blow up the bridges over the river Divette. They have captured a German officer in front of a metal workshop.Their left flank is well protected by 3 paras, one is a sniper, but danger is coming from inside the building. In the destroyed workshop, 2 German soldiers are preparing a surprise attack. Also the captured officer has a nasty surprise up his sleeves or should I say at the back of his coat.It took me almost 4 months to complete this dio. All figures have been completely or partly repainted.
Enjoy

Hi Guy,

You have built what I consider to be an outstanding diorama! I can easily see why it took four months to complete it. The story line is clear, the environment is excellent, and the figures play their respective roles perfectly. In short, it is outstanding work and you should be hugely proud of it. I know I would be.

Thanks for sharing the photos. They are outstanding!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Outstanding (to say the least). I really like the machine tools and the staircase-not to mention the photography.

Dear "Guy":

Really splendid diorama packed full of assorted details! I recently placed a couple of Thomas Gunn sets in with otherwise all King & Country (K&C) sets in two of my dioramas and the Gunn sets blend in perfectly with the K&C sets.

This is a well done scene.....But in a way I wish the TGM didn't blend with the K&C, because it forces me to weather both my K&C and TGM......No big deal. ......I had proposed on the Airborne Only thread that TGM would be the first manufacturer to do both a "Bright" and "Weathered" version of his figures. So us Figarti and TCS fans could blend with the excellent TGM products....

Before you respond....Think out of the box for a minute.....and really think about this idea....To not take away from this thread, respond on the Airborne only thread, We already approached this topic there. Alex

I've run out of English adjectives to describe your work, so let me say it in Spanish..."de calidad!" And in Filipino..."walang kaparis!"

Guy:)
