US Marines take cover in a bombed out house that Nick Nasta built from scratch. The house is on a shelf, not too far from the shore line. Only one casualty to report so far. Over. Enjoy the Shelf Top Action photos with K&C Marines...Nick

Hey Nick,

Agree with Louis comments. Neat looking build.

Simon

Thanks Simon. I think I mentioned somewhere that the buildings are my "Next Generation" buildings. I'm making them smaller with a lot of detail. I'm not going to make those massive office buildings anymore unless I get a special order. I did make a large 23 inch long detailed garage prior to this building, which I posted somewhere. My other "New Generation" building can be found under Fig_ _ _ _ Miniatures. Thanks again guys.......Nick

Morbshock,

Love the look and feel of realism of urban warfare. Good job with the camera shots. I am a bit confused and I really am far from being architectural expert but were there buildings like that in the Pacific areas in which the Marines fought?

Or is it just artistic licenses? Either way it’s cool. I love the wall paper and the feeling it conveys.

Don't be confused Carlos. I LOL when I placed them in that house but I like the way they look and they told a story.

There was one American civilian guy who lived on an island in the Pacific and he built that house. He didn't like the bamboo look. LOL.....

The 2nd floor was blown away and all of the Marines gathered on the 1st floor, waiting for the enemy attack.....Nick

Soon, the Marines may have to retreat into the jungle.........

A building like this might have worked in the Philippines with its background in Spanish culture and architecture. At any rate, it's very nicely done. Great job.
