Hey guys, my loft is done up now, just needs the units, wallpaper, paint and other stuff but it looks good, so will hopefully have pics of my dioramas being set up before christmas! I also got to huge tables in my bedroom tonight as my mum wants me to set up some dios so that I can make plans for where everything is going when they get moved up to the room!
My mu has a budget for the room, and said that whatever is left I can spend on ts and diorama products!
Tonight I set up my large XXX Corps diorama on the tables in my room, and tomorrow I will take pics!
When I set this dio up in my room it will be one long diorama instead of two halves, however it may go into an L shape if need be, anyways, back to the thread!

My diorama attempts to show XXX Corps' journey along that single road, but also over the bailey bridge at Son Bridge. The dio has one end (call it 'a') which shows the Irish Guards Shermans leading the way down the road, with some help from the Welsh Guards, and 3rd Infantry Division, this is part whoch shows the encounters with the German resistance! The 2nd part (b) shows artillery tractors and armoured cars of the 7th Armoured Division coming over the bailey (pontoon) bridge and moving up along the road with the remainder of the 3rd Inf div. It also shows British infantry with captured Germans, preparing to move them back across the bridge! Part c shows XXX Corps at the other end of the bridge, gradually moving heavy armour (which is waiting by the side of the road) onto the bridge, it also shows the British artillery which is providing cover for the Irish Guards (a) to advance along during the German onslaught! Confused? Don't worry it will look clearer in pictures!

Here's the reason for the thread.....
I would like to add another section, an addition to c, or maybe a totally new one: (d) showing the American forces in the town of Eindhoven. I would like to have 102st and 82nd included in this, however the only ones I have all have jumpsuits on!
I think we could do with some American paras to fit in with XXX Corps! Maybe some helping some british engineers construct the bridge, maybe a paratrooper patrol, with guns on shoulders, drinking from canteens, maybe talking with local dutch civilians, sitting relaxing, maybe setting up a camp with tents and such? Smoking and relaxing with British infantry, I would love to see a para with bc-1000 radio!
I would also like to see lots more XXX Corps vehicles, Sherman bulldozer would be great! British halftrack with infantry would also be amazing!
Cheers lads!
