Market square diorma... (1 Viewer)

Brilliant work Michael. Love the ground work especially - nice balanced blend of sand and vegitation.

Michael this diorama would also go well with your crusader displays which you've previously posted. I'm envious of your creativity - the buildings are very special and most of all very effective!

Another Classic Diorama from your end Michael an what a pleasure it's been enjoying it along with the photos...........PapaZ

Fabulous Dio mate, what great close-up pic's too.{eek3}

I really like your shutters and what you've done with the wood staining and detail.

Thanks so much for posting.{sm4}

Hey guys...thanks to everybody for the polite compliments and words of encouragement...

if anybody has been following my rant on the tarp or canopy...that I didn't like it and was gonna redo it...well I did...just a simple white piece of t-shirt draped over it and sprayed with a liquidy white glue...I know it's plain...not colorful...but for now...I'm gonna leave it like that...

I also dug it out of the ground and patched the earthwork...I would rather have it removable and free standing so I might put some Crusader/Saracens in a dio or some some Gordons/Dervish in a dio...

I just got this guy today...at George's suggestion...aka Bearybones on here...I'm glad I did...I also re-did my canopy for the third and final time which I'm glad I did...this looks better as Nicholas...aka Scarletpimpernel on here...said the last attempt looked like a handkerchief...lol...this covering is more colorful...anyway...here's the close-up of NE002 from Napoleon in Egypt..."The Guide"...

Michael, your village scene looks great! I'm glad you got that new figure and made him a central character in your dio. He fits in well. Where did you get those whicker baskets in your dio?

George...here you go...they come unpainted...I painted 1/2 of mine black and 1/2 of them brown...then highlighted (dry brushed) with a tan on the brown and white on the black ones...
