Hi Guys,
‘True Grit’ was a great 1969 American Western movie based on the 1968 novel of the same name written by Charles Portis.
Its central character was an aging U.S. Marshal called ‘Rooster’ Cogburn memorably portrayed by John Wayne in the role that would win him his only ‘Oscar’.
In 2010, ‘True Grit’ was filmed once more and starred Jeff Bridges in the Cogburn role.
Both actors gave great performances and inspired our little tribute to a pair of terrific movies... two memorable actors and a great fictional Western character... U.S. Marshal Reuben J. “Rooster” Cogburn.
Here, he prepares to deal with a quartet of real, bad ‘hombres’!
