Hi Guys,

True Grit’ was a great 1969 American Western movie based on the 1968 novel of the same name written by Charles Portis.

Its central character was an aging U.S. Marshal called ‘Rooster Cogburn memorably portrayed by John Wayne in the role that would win him his only ‘Oscar’.

In 2010, ‘True Grit’ was filmed once more and starred Jeff Bridges in the Cogburn role.

Both actors gave great performances and inspired our little tribute to a pair of terrific movies... two memorable actors and a great fictional Western character... U.S. Marshal Reuben J.RoosterCogburn.

Here, he prepares to deal with a quartet of real, bad ‘hombres’!

Enjoy...
Andy

Do not collect this range, but his looks like an excellent figure. Real True Grit, the figure reminds me of the great westerns i remember him in, including

RIO BRAVO - what a cast, Dean Martin, Angie Dickinson, Ricky Nelson.
El Dorado - great cast, Robert Mitchum, James Dean, Michele Carey [one of the first crushes i had].

Great looking figures and another must have building. I love these western buildings, cant wait till they are released

Andy,
Great looking figure.
You might want to consider repainted versions of the Wild Bunch set of 4 and the Lonesome Dove pair. Your cattle drive series has increased interest but newer collectors missed those.
Any other dealers feel same way please let Andy know.

Great looking figure Andy. Looking forward to adding this one to my collection.

I don’t collect this range, but everyone knows who Rooster Cogburn is, and that looks just like him.

Great figure.

Wow, fantastic figure, this range is really growing nicely.

I don't collect the West, but I think some of K&C's best figures recently come from this series.

Brendan

Andy, do you plan on making any of the western building commercially?
Regards
Jas

OK......now this is cool! IMO John Wayne epitomized the old west and there will never be another like him. Great job, Andy!
