Martin Milner of Route 66 and Adam-12 fame has passed away at 83 years of age. He was seemingly everywhere in the movies and on TV when I was growing up. In addition to the famous tv shows, he had parts in The Sands of Iwo Jima, Gunfight at the OK Corral, Mister Roberts, The Long Gray Line, and many others. He was a welcome and friendly face on the screen. RIP. -- Al

Sad news. It seems like many of the TV stars from that era are passing on. Adam 12 was an iconic show. I catch it from time to time with shows like Emergency. They are a kind of time capsule from the 1970s.

Swiss Family Robinson, the Disney Movie comes to mind. RIP. Chris
