Massed battle for Quebec (1 Viewer)

Thanks Mike for your comments. I've been enjoying your numerous dioramas on the Forum and JJ collectors club. I think if you can find a nice background to combine with your figures your more than half way to setting the scene and making it enjoyable for someone to view. You seem to readily come up with the right backgrounds. I have exchanged a few email conversations with the Grand Master JJ lately and think he is a great chap. He is passionate about the hobby and the collectors. If you were to ask me about what diorama i like best with your lot. it would be difficult to choose as they are all good. I do especially like Indian and Ranger scenes and the great scenery from that Great Lakes area. You have got me thinking now about doing a diorama. Maybe for our competition next year. Regards Greg.

Greg...

so true...
the right backdrop really enhances the figures...
there are some tremendous scene creators on this forum...
yourself included...
I don't use Photoshop or any software to enhance my pictures...
but I may take 4-5 pics from the same angle til I get what I think looks okay...

on the backdrops...
I just look through images online (wallpaper size for good clarity) until I find one I like...
then print it...
and try to blend things in...
again...nice job on your part...
keep me posted on your next endeavor...
