Thought I would share this and hopefully it wasn't or hasn't been posted in the past. If the link doesn't work just do a search for 'Matchbox Fleet." This is a snippet of the info....Incredible matchbox fleet made by 79-year-old Phil Warren from United Kngdom. It took him 69 years to make... all 432 ships.
All I can say is "Wow !"

Pictures of the fleet, laid out on numerous tables, at various exhibitions, appear in 'Model Boats' magazine at regular intervals. I've never managed to catch it yet. Philip has written a booklet about his fleet and construction methods (all done from old matchsticks and boxes) which he sells at shows. I wish I could get hold of one but I find him very elusive. Their is (was) a Youtube video of him and his navy, but I've lost the reference. Shouldn't be hard to find, though.I wish I were as dedicated.
