not familiar with this conflict...but I'm guessing the machine gun was the great eqaulizer in this battle...very nice piece by the way...

The Matabele War was the first conflict the British used the Maxim gun. There was no stopping it's use after that :wink2:

"for your diorama...you can't have enough dead Zulus"...^&grin

Very nice, Trophy does go well with LL. I can almost here the report of the guns. I guess that's why I caught the Trophy bug. What Lt says is true, you can never have too many Zulus.
