Hi Guys,

One of the privileges of traveling overseas to promote K&C is the opportunity to meet all kinds of K&C collectors on their “home-turf” and discuss toy soldiers in general and K&C in particular.

As I’ve said and written before although in a year we get to meet literally hundreds of collectors we also get to sit down and talk to many of them often on a one-to-one basis.

These talks and meetings often lead to new ideas… directions… and sometimes a whole new range of figures, vehicles or even… aircraft.

The recently past Texas Show was just such an occasion to renew old acquaintances and make lots of new ones. On the return trip to Hong Kong I was fortunate to be able to link up with two old friends (and K&C collectors) in New York and spend some very valuable hours discussing exciting new approaches and viewing two superb toy soldier collections into the bargain!

An extra big thankyou therefore to Larry Lo and John Bennett for their fantastic hospitality and… great friendship.

See you in Chicago guys! All the very best and… Happy collecting!

Well said Andy.....and likewise I never ran into a collector who did not enjoy meeting you in person to include myself. It has always been a pleasure and great fun !!!
It adds another dimension meeting the man behind the scenes in person and talking about all of the great products and the hobby. What more can one ask for ! ^&grin

Great thrill last year meeting you Andy, hopefully again one day in the future, cheers, Robin.

Ludwig:

Well said! Gosh, we post a lot of photos of our dioramas using K&C sets & there has been no comments made by Andy of late about them.

Yes it is always nice when the makers and owners of companies post comments, but I don't blame them if they stay silent as sometimes whatever they say nearly always gives some a reason to make negative comments here and elsewhere.
