For those that know Desertkiwi - ala Toddy.
Sadly he was injure don duty in Auckland by what can only be described as a 'nutter"

I would stress - this is about the incident or the nutter - NZ and Auckland is safe place, sometimes ***** happens just the same as anywhere in the world - THIS HOWEVER IS ABOUT TODDY! And I am sure those that have talked and know him will feel the same as I do. I hope you recover quickly and well! And I wish you and your family all the best in this matter.

GOOD LORD!!!!

What a terribly tragic bit of news. I am certainly sad to hear this. DK has always been a fun guy and contributor. Here's to a quick recovery and even swifter justice!!!

Best regards to DK and his family and loved ones.

My goodness, what a crazy story! I hope that your Uncle Todd makes a full and fast recovery.

Dave mate,
Please pass on my best wishes to young Toddy for a speedy recovery. He is an ANZAC brother and a well respected member of this Forum. Always up for a joke. My prayers are with him and his family.
A police officer's job is one of community service but a constant threat to life and limb and having a daughter in the job I fear for her safety every day.
Cheers from the Big Block of Land across the Ditch, Howard

I hope you will convey everyone here's deepest sympathies and prayers to your uncle, and I hope you know that we all are thinking of you and the rest of his family. It is a tragedy whenever someone is inured while serving others.
My deepest regards,
Sandor

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Terrible news. Are there any updates on his condition?

Hi all - just to be clear Toddy is not a relative - as it appears it may not be clear - my apologies - Toddy knows me via my own uncle.....
I sort of know his address - but its not public knowledge for obvious reasons - I would suggest for those wishing Toddy a speedy recovery they maybe liaise with Brett of The Military Workshop or address correspondence care of the NZ Police, Mission Bay Community Constable, PO Box 55 099 , Mission Bay, Auckland NZ - or send PM via this forum.
Hopefully we shall have some good news on Toddy soon...

Very best wishes for a speedy recovery Toddy ..... get well soon.

B.
