Just got back from the morning show, quick bite to eat and back up to London for the evening do.

I must confess most of my time this morning was split between K&C and Figarti.Poor Tony was very sick upstairs with suspected food poisoning,i didn't get to see him and hope he's fit to come down to the show tonight. The K&C set up looked wonderful as normal,Tonys dios were great and showed all the ranges off to their best.I was lucky enough to be on the scene when Toy soldier collector magazine came along. As Tony was ill Bob asked me to show the chaps from the magazine all the new stuff K&C had on offer. This i was very happy to do and as a result they interviewed me for the next issue!.I also got to do another K&C UK interview with Bob.

What did i buy?;).I love the new Arnhem stuff,it looks so much better in the flesh. So i bought the first Arnhem Jeep and four of the Patrol figures.I also got The D Day Jeep ambulance,The Bulge Scout car.I bought from the 8TH Army range Advance under fire and Returning fire. These figures are absolutely superb and i can't believe i waited so long to get them. And of course i could not have left the hotel without some of the Crimean second wave,so i got The Bugler,Spare Cannon and dead figure and the Russian Gunner being cut down.Safe to say they are wonderful figures, real quality.

I also spent quite a while visiting Clive on the Figarti Tables.I really like the stuff they are coming out with and i preordered the V2 from Clive which is due Jan/Feb.I also had the pleasure of meeting Rick and got to talk about his new stuff.

I also had the pleasure of meeting some fellow treefroggers; Simon,RAMC,Kevin,Hoogri,Normandy44,UKReb,Hugh.Good to meet you all.:)

Both Andy and Shannon were were busy mixing today so am looking forward to seeing them tonight.Ok time for food and off i go again.Simon was snapping away with his camera so he should have some pics soon.

Cheers

Rob

Sounds like great fun Bob,

Thanks for the report. My wife and I are planning to see the show in London in June.

Was there anything new being announced and shown for the future by any company? If so what, any pictures?

Yes, we all want the world from you guys because we're all envious of the experience you all are having.

Thanks,

Carlos

yes , updates on the hour , every hour from the UK KCTV team with breaking news stories as they happen:D:D:D

Any word on the new John Jenkins line or figures?

Why General sir ... you are moving up in the world. :D

First, another interview with K&CUK TV ... and more with Toy Soldier Collector magazine. Will they be running your pictures, if so that's an added reason to pick up a copy.

I must report from the front that your mini-report is greatly appreciated ... and we eagerly await further updates.

Tell Tony to stay away from the Mars Bars (hope he gets back on his feet soon) & Thank u again.

PT2!!

After what seems like four hours sleep i'm up again as we are off to the coast.Just wanted to thank all at K&C UK for a great evening last night. The evening show in London is always held in an atmosphere of such good humour that its really enjoyable.Tony was the subject of a lot of stick as he had been missing in the morning and had had a 'Duvet day'!;).But all the Nevilles were on fine form.We had a great talk from Andy who gave us a Short history of K&C and then very kindly put up with several questions from me!:).We then had a fascinating talk form the author of 'Hell Riders' who killed a few myths for us regarding the Charge of the light Brigade. After this we had a talk from Tony and Bob who told us about plans for K&C UK TV.Watch this space.

After the show finished myself Simon and RAMC got to talk to Andy for a long time which was fantastic and he kindly gave us some insights into the future,i can only say OH MY GOD!!! But for now they must remain secret;)(sorry guys, but a promise is a promise:)).

Throughout the show i had the pleasure of sitting next to Shannon,it was so nice to finally meet her, she really is a very nice lady indeed.

The show officially ended at ten but it was so good talikg to Andy that i finally had to tear myself away at 10.45 and rush for the last train!.Thanks Andy for taking so much of your time to fill us in on whats going on,its much apprciated.

All i can say to finish......CAN'T WAIT FOR 2008!!!!!

Rob.

Oh,one thing i can tell you because it will be in Dispatches and Andy announced it last night. We are getting an Elefant in January!.

Rob , thanks for your updates, really appreciated and have a great day at the coast.

Thanks for the reports Rob. Wish I could have been there! Sorry poor Tony was under the weather.

No probs Louis,i'm guessing the stuff i learnt last night you've known for ages;)!

Be great if you could make it over for the show one year?

Rob

I believe The General Sir has left for the coast... say, isnt it winter alreadi in jolly old England, or is that a secret code. Coast = beach = invasion = submarine ? ? ? :p

Perhaps another T'frogger who was at the show, will play our hot, cold game ?

:D pleaaaaaase

Louis, let's not get too many violins out. The only person that's believing the food poisoning line, is Tony's mum, and that's only 'cause she feels obliged too, as a mother. :D

Oh, so next time I have too much to drink, I'll say "oooh, I had a bit of food poisoning. Can't make it to work today." ;)

Maybe he had a Star Wars convention to go to :D

On what Rob could not tell about K&C I would bet that we´re going to have French and Indian War coming up next year and I would also bet that that line will be the best FIW in matte. John Jenkins has an excellent line, excellent figures, but speaking exclusively from the John Jenkins I see on the net I prefer K&C's figures, especially when it comes to faces and eyes, for me the weak link for JJ's figures.

Wraith, thanks for posting the photos in the show section, they are great, especially of the figarti B17 with the clear canopy and crew.:D

I like the look of the B 17 in British colors, which wasn't in Chicago.

However, as great as these look and as great as the price is for a bird of this kind, the shipping is going to be very expensive because it's quite heavy. So, if you're seriously thinking about one of these, you need to check it out before you do. Treefrog has special terms about this on their web site.

That Figarti E-boat is something else. I know it's big and expensive, but wow. That has to be the release of the year. And once your wife moves out in response to buying it there is plenty of space.

:D:D:D
You'd end up having to sell it to cover the cost of the divorce proceedings
