Thanks for sharing your photos with us George. Your set ups are fantastic as ever and I'm sorry I could be there to see them in person.
Thanks Brett; it was a lot of work, but worth it. The second room we have has plastic bins full of del prados and Britains on the beds, so we pull them off and sleep on those beds. Actually last year my father was dead tired one of the days and grabbed all the pillows and slept in the tub for a few hours.........................he is priceless, just ask anyone who has met him...........
George had a great display. I just now learned from his photos how much had been sold prior to my arrival Thursday at noon although I made a point of visiting his room first.
Obviously, George's father runs the show. George just collects the money and the credit cards at the door.

Your father told me the reason he slept in the tub. One time he fell asleep on the bed and you tried to sell him as part of a diorama.
Terry
George,
Your room always looks great!!!!!
George,
I'd swear your the hardest working dealer out there.
I thought you worked out, but it's obvious all you do is lift large heavy boxes full of soldiers. Hope the show was great and the return trip empty.
Cool, I'd like to see pictures of that display. Thanks Ed, my father really likes the Custer items he bought from you, they are sitting in his Little Big Horn display right now; all he needs is another 4,000 or so indians to set it up on a 1 to 1 scale.............
george, can i ask which manufacturer makes the kubel and grenadiers?
That was done by Britains a few years back in 1-32 for their Stalingrad series.
Gary
thanks gary.
it looks quite a piece.
sincerely.
george,
looks like a smashing time you had there mate.
which is your best seller? and which is most enquried about?
King & Country led the way in total sales dollarwise, more than 65% of my total sales at the show thanks to the new Crusaders, Italians, the British/Canadian sets and the biggest mover of them all, the summer and winter versions of the 251/22; I sold 12 total of the two versions. I also sold quite a bit of retired K & C as well, always good to have at this show.
It is nice to have K & C there showing all the latest items and having the customers come to the dealers rooms and buy those products, it's great to have a manufacturer support the dealers like that.
The second biggest mover was First Legion, specifically the Stug, of which I sold 6 of the two versions combined as well as the Stalingrad figures, plus the new Napoleonic Prussians, the French Guard Chasseurs and Line Infantry and last but not least, the three personality figures.
Once again this was possible thanks to the manufacturer supporting me there by sending me the new Stugs and the new Germans and Russians even before he has them for sale.
Another example of a manufacturer supporting his dealer.
I also sold a lot of John Jenkins sets as well as the new Figarti, Build A Rama mats and Britians items; not to beat a dead horse, but John worked extra hard to get me the newest items and Britains brought the newest items and delivered them to my door, as did Figarti, who provided me with the newest items and Marc from Build A Rama worked extra hard to get the mats I needed sent to the hotel.
Customers seemed interested in knowing about the future Thomas Gunn Miniatures releases too; sorry I could not give out that information at the show, all of you will find out soon what is in store from this new company. They were also nice enough to get me some restocks in time for the show, all of which sold too.
So kudos to all of those manufacturers for supporting me and all their other dealers at the show as without their help, I nor anyone else could have had a successful show.................
good to hear all's well george.
though you might want to tell us the new TGM release.
