All the taxi cabs in this image are photographs of original cabs used in 1914 taken in museums around France. I like the officer with the telescope on top of the cab in the background.
Enjoy,
Steve

Hi Steve,

I noticed that quite a number of soldiers have similar poses to the recent retiring FW figures. Interesting indeed.

This is a dio after my heart. I love all things WW1 France. I can only spot two recently retired figures, the Joffre figure and the soldier tending the horse. The Foch figure with the telescope was retired somewhile back. All the rest are still currently available. Great use of the figures and perspective, and the flip-flopping of the figures (note the left-handed ones) to create different poses. Also really like the addition of the Maurice Farman (MF 7) Longhorn. Had a blistering top speed of 59 mph, but was present in both the French Air Service and RFC as an observation aircraft in 1914. -- Al

Steve, really incredible way you put your figures with these backdrops and blend so smoothly. It took me 4 years to figure how to put a picture on here.{eek3}And I still have trouble.{eek3}{eek3}^&confuse
