I don't know about anyone else, but I think these look perfect together. If someone didn't know they were different companies, one might think they were from the same source.

Thanks for sharing the photo. They do look really good set up next to each other.

seems the aeroart german officer is a larger figure than the FL.

If you take a closer look you will see the FL figure has his hand on his knee and is leaning forward :wink2:while the Aeroart figure is standing stiff legged . Maybe that would account for the Aeroart figure looking taller . Gebhard

Love this shot showing Arminius and the Germanic Tribesman facing off against the new First Legion Romans . I think its the best possible compliment for First Legion standing next to figures that are double or triple the price and not making FL look cheap . I'm not foolish enough in my support of First Legion to say the are painted to that level but at the price are a fantastic addition to the field for collectors looking for a cheaper alternative . And IMO First Legion are the Connoisseur figures for the working man :wink2:. And with the amount of poses coming out are making a welcome addition to my Aeroart collection of Rome and her enemies , I would love to see First Legion figures portraying Caesar's 10th . Thanks for sharing ...Regards Gebhard

Gebhard i agree.i love aeroart and just ordered 2 romans today.that said it cost me 310.00 for two.i got all 8 of the new fl for under 500.00.fl is not aeroart but they look great with them for less than half the price.i know aeroart is coming out with marco polo romans with figarte to go with the new temple.and they will be much cheaper than the regular aeroart.nikki told me they hope to have them for otsn.good time to collect romans --lots of choice and price levels.great for the hobby to keep getting better figures cheaper.mike b.

thanks for sharing. i do not like the square bases. Much prefer varied bases with detailed terrain on them.

Yeah, I saw that but look at the head and the fit/bulkiness of the coat. Clearly smaller. The coat should be way bulkier than the aeroart figure.

I believe that it helps all mfg.sales and their collectors wants if the figures and vehicles from anyone are a close match in size. For all involved, it allows more variety of poses, detail and characters for any given period. This matching up between mfg. removes the excuses or reasons we collectors use for not buying from this mfg. or that..Imagine a shield wall of F/L, CS, Conte, and K/C Romans ( as long as the riveteers can get past minor uniform differences :rolleyes2:). I would think it would be a win/win if we could include rather then defend our exclusivity for the different mfg. Michael

In Reality....Not all manufacturers products are compatible....To suggest so does a dis-service to accuracy and objective analysis to collectors....There are differences and they should be able to be presented without recompense
