i believe that it helps all mfg.sales and their collectors wants if the figures and vehicles from anyone are a close match in size. For all involved, it allows more variety of poses, detail and characters for any given period. This matching up between mfg. Removes the excuses or reasons we collectors use for not buying from this mfg. Or that..imagine a shield wall of f/l, cs, conte, and k/c romans ( as long as the riveteers can get past minor uniform differences :rolleyes2. I would think it would be a win/win if we could include rather then defend our exclusivity for the different mfg. Michael
ALEX I AGREE,ON ANOTHER THREAD I POSTED THAT I ALWAYS LOOK AT THE SHIELD QUALITY DETAIL TO JUDGE A ROMAN FIGURE.FL DOES USE DECALS BUT IT IS VERY WELL DONE AND HARD TO TELL ON MANY FIGURES-AND IT KEEPS DOWN THE PRICE.HERE ARE SOME KOLOBOB SHIELDS THAT I THINK ARE AMAZING.The big difference between FL and Aeroart romans is the way the shields are rendered. FL ones have a decal while Aeroart ones are completely hand paintec. I prefer Aeroart romans myself. A lot of people won't see the difference but I do. To each his own but for 50$ or so, FL romans is the way to go if you want to build a small army of excellent quality.

Thank you, McBowen, for posting these comparison photos. It appears that sizewise, TCS and FL are comparable this time. Aeroart unfortunately is not if I remember your other photos correctly - which really surprises me as I had clearly considered supplementing the FL Romans with Aeroart Romans rather than TCS Romans.
i agree with you, sizewise all three manufacturer's products appear to be compatible. Thank you once more for your help in posting these pictures.
