I thought I would share a few photos of my latest purchase – the second version of the Hurricane. This is my one and only WW2 item from K&C.

I am impressed from the size of the outer packing carton it came in to the level of detail on the control panel in the cockpit

I'm a bit puzzled about the demarcation line between the 'Sand and Spinach' camo, seems to run through the ID letters too.

And another one bites the dust......It starts out with just the odd plane, them, you really ought to have a few groundcrew around it, and perhaps the odd hut. And what about a jeep or ambulance to finish off that little airfield scene.

Wait a minute! That tank looks good next to that jeep as well. And perhaps a few infantry to support the tank, just a few. But how did they get there? Well, ought to get a halftrack, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. In which case, another set of infantry to make up the numbers for the halftrack.

Who are they fighting though? Perhaps just an anti tank gun and crew. And a squad of infantry to support the AT gun. Oh no, how did they AT gun get there? Bet it must have been pulled by another vehicle.

......and ofcourse....don't forget the RUNWAY, you have to be able to take off
and land from somewhere......

It makes it easier and consistent for the painters.

Yes I now have Three planes and ground crew to support them.I would like to see a
ME262 .Simmo.

Thanks guys for the encouragement! , but it’s just a one off special purchase and so now it’s back to Napoleonic’s, Crimean War and Sudan etc…..

Nice planes, I have both, but would have like to have the pilot seperate to the plane instead of fixed in.
