MLB 2025 (2 Viewers)

The Dodgers and Yankees each have $117mil worth of payroll on their injured lists.

Yet they are both in first place in their divisions.

MLB needs a salary cap.

It will never happen, players union will never go for it.

Only the owners self discipline can keep the salaries down and you see how that's been.

I was looking at the standings and I noticed that the season is already over the 1/4 point.

No more it’s early, the all-star break is coming up fast.

Yeah the season seems to be moving pretty fast.

Nothing sums up the state of MLB in 2025 more than this quote from a radio host on the Giant’s radio station.

“The Giants placed Justin Verlander on the 15 day DL. He is 0-3 with a 4.33 ERA. He is only making $15mil this year.

Only $15 mil for 3 losses in 10 games?

Ouch.

The Phillies are now in 1st in the NL East.

That division is completely up for grabs.

I thought the NL West was going to be competitive!

They are way overpaid.

I am not a fan of throwback uniforms but the Braves retro jerseys that they wore over this past weekend are the best.

The Giants are suddenly fading.

On top of that they still have a ton of games left versus the Dodgers.
