I am not about to make excuses for the hated Dodgers but they have been decimated by injuries this year.

No MLB team has had more players injured reserve in 2025.

Plenty of time for them to get healthy.

All things being equal if they are healthy the Dodgers are a super (payroll) team.

Listening to the Giant’s flagship radio station earlier this week.

The Giants have admitted that their $200mil payroll per year is not competitive despite attempts to increase revenue via higher pricing for fan attendance and experience.

Great, $19 dollar hotdogs and $27 beers aren’t cutting it.

Maybe $3 per bathroom visit and 20 minutes of commercials between innings on TV will get us a World Series.

The Mets own the Phillies but Philly is beating Atlanta. Atlanta is playing better but are not the team they were a couple of years ago.

I used to hate the wildcard.

With the Giants a .5 game back from making the playoffs it is now the greatest change in MLB history.

The Dodgers' bullpen is awful. Every day I read about the Dodgers starting pitcher going five or more innings only to have the relief pitcher get shelled and blow the game. Absent a miracle, they are toast in the playoffs.

A lot of hype about Kershaw's pending retirement but he is also having an unexpectedly great season at 10-2. Only one other Dodgers pitcher has more wins. Maybe his retirement will light a fire under this team to close strong.
