Great to see Clayton Kershaw coming back for another year.

I am not a Dodgers fan but I am a baseball fan, he is a first ballot Hall of Famer who deserves a farewell lap.

I'm curious to see how Koyo Aoyagi looks in spring training. He's a non-roster invitee. He's a righty with a side-arm delivery.

Prost!

I am always fascinated by side-armed pitchers.

In the beginning they all seem unhittable.

The robot umps are long overdue. Hopefully that brings to an end all the complaining about the balls and strikes soon. The NFL needs something like that for first downs and TDs.

Finally getting into spring training, watched a few games yesterday, looking forward to this season.

Baseball makes it feel like spring is on the way and it's just enjoyment for me as it makes me think of simpler times when I was a kid.

Sounds like Pete Rose is getting a pardon and then reinstated by MLB in the near future. HOF just around the corner. I think that is the correct decision. He suffered plenty for whatever he did back in the day. Now that MLB and every other sport has sold out to the gambling industry, it would be hypocrisy after his death not to do this.

That's great, once he hears the news, he'll be thrilled.

If, and it is a huge if, the Dodgers stay healthy they will win the World Series.

However, as Tony Kornheiser pointed out on PTI most of their projected starting rotation spent time on the IR list last year.

Kershaw, Snell, Glasnow, Yamamoto etc. all missed significant parts of the season.

That's ok, I'm sure they'll back a dump truck of money up on some team or two at the trade deadline to grab more arms.

Go ahead and add Gerrit Cole to the never ending list of Cy Young award winners from the last 15 years that is going to miss significant time (an entire season) due to injury.
