Hello,
Could I get some advice please?
I’ve made a few dioramas in the past just using boards and scenery, (Sudan, Waterloo, Zulu etc) but now I am going to try a diorama with height that involves a bit of sculpting.
I thought I would start with a WW1 trench scene (1/30 scale) but I’m not sure what to use to build up the earth with.
I got some dry floral foam blocks to carve out, but they don’t seem very nice to work with.
Somebody told me that they might shrink and crumble over time so I should try insulation, but when I google insulation there is so many types
Any advise for the best type of block material to use would be appreciated.
Glenn
