Most impressive photography and set construction, as well as interesting and evocative figure placement Octavian. Please share more as you can. How did you do the rocks and ground for your Spartan dio?

Thanks Spitfrnd. The rock outcropping is modelled from a combination of Woodlands Scenics Plaster Cloth and rock molds i made myself.

The ground cover is again made from a combination of Selleys Spakfilla (a cellulose reinforced non-shrinking filler that can be molded and sands easily), Woodlands Scenics foam putty and Games Workshop's modelling sand.

I use alot of the Woodlands Scenics stuff. Its slightly pricey but it does the job well.

Very cool vignettes and nice collection too. I need to practice on photography. :(

Excellent vignettes. You have great talent with scenics which I think is half the fun collecting toy soldiers.

Welcome, Octavian, and thanks for sharing your dioramas!

That's a clever system, using a standard for your base size. Do you plan on creating more modules with component dios from the same subject, so you could take all of the modules and make a large display, if desired?

Prosit!
Brad

Hi Brad,
My sincere apologies on missing your post & questions. Yes, based on the design of the terrain and landscape features, most of my modules can be joined together to form a larger display. Work on Hougoumont, Charge of the French and Scots Calvary is currently in progress. Thank you for the kind comment.

Best Regards

Octavian,
Looking foward to see more of your work.I'm very impressed with it.Hope to see more real soon.
