As near as I can tell from following sales of such sets, KC has never gone wrong with photographers and/or film crew for the different ranges.

However, none appear to have ever been made for RAF, AF or JN.

Would be marvelous for collectors to have them out on the flight line with our planes, pilots and ground crew.:D

Ya' Moe, I would definiately be into those sets, but for me they would be WWII Pacific themed; either USMC or USN.

If you did a search for WWII USMC Pacific landings on the islands you would find pictures and videos of the guys storming out of the LCVP's.
BUT remember .... the camera guy was THERE FIRST. {eek3}

For the Japanese side of things, there is a SoHK figure (HK147) that fits nicely for dioramas like "Fall of Singapore" and scenes for the Japanese marching into NANKING and and other similar locations.

There are no figures that would work on the islands, that I can find.

However, I have seldom see pictures, from the Japanese point of view, of Japanese action on island fighting. .... Have you? :rolleyes2:

LaRRy,

Negative on the real-life IJN photographer! However, someone had to take pics like these:

Very TRUE ... but how many WWII Pacific photos have you seen that were taken from the Japanese positions by a Japanese Army photographer?
I wonder if any photographer would even have been assigned to the islands ...:rolleyes2:

I do have a few in my books that show life on an Japanese held island BEFORE any US forces landed. I have also photos from photographers of the Japanese Army in Burma China and the Philippines. Also, as you have shown, there are quite a few on board IJN ships.

Just curious!

Thanks!

CAn we once and for all get a figure of a crusader photographer?!?!? 😉

Zach and Larry, both of those comments are silly and unproductive.
Everyone knows by the crusades they were using Betamax.

Oh darn, you are right, totally forgot that historical fact. I think that it was called BetaMaximus ...:p
However, any thing that happened before the 1740's I don't pay to much attention to.
