This Alymer 21st Lancers, Sudan set is one of the first sets I ever bought when I started collecting. I bought it from Bob Fisher at the Old toy Soldier Home in 1993. The metal flag is really very nicely done. I also had a similar Alymer set of the 17th Lancers, Zulu War at the show.

Iron Mike "T" is ALL-PRO in my book. He is without a doubt one of the nicest and most knowledgeable collectors I have encountered amongst this great fraternity! Here are some pictures of the wild Italian himself as well as some pictures of a mere 1% of his holdings. My pictures pale in comparison to the others but maybe they allow for quick online shopping. Please enjoy.

FIGHT ON!
Marc

Marc,

Thank you for your kind words. It was extremely generous of you. Also, thanks for your great photo coverage of the show.

Best regards,

Mike

Here is the Frontline Figures crew at the tables next to mine at the show. I have known Gerard Prime for 18 years; I think we have both put on about a pound of weight a year since then. Across the aisle are collectors Jim Rollins and Dan Rozboril selling some of their collections. The other gentleman in the photo is a physician whose name I don't know.

Here are views of my two tables at the West Coaster just before it opened Sunday morning. The two AFVs are not for sale, I bought them from Denver for my collection.

Mike,

You are welcome. It is always easy to tell the truth!

Arrivederci,
Marc

I picked up two Frontline Figures Seven Years War sets of the Swedish Army Halsinge Regiment.

At the West Coaster, I also bought this early, glossy Frontline set from their Parade Dress line: P.D.S.6 RUSSIAN PREOBRASHENSKI REGIMENT STANDARD PARTY.

These are photos taken on March 30th of some of the purchases that Bob Walker made at the West Coaster. They include Bill Connolly conversions, Bill Hocker, Bastion Models, Beau Geste, Hiriart, Britains, Metal Shed, and others. I don't know who made the ship model.

More. Some of those boxes still have toy soldier in them, so they are not on the kitchen table.

West Coaster

Who's going to be at the West Coaster? Idea . . . maybe Treefrog Treasures can bring along some stick-on labels with their logo so that we can ID one another.

Anyway, I'll be going up Friday. Have a lot of 54mm castings, 1:3000 war-gaming ships, and pro-painted 25mm MiniFig bands plus a few 54mm painted sets should anyone be interested. Stephen Dietz will be offering them.

Kilted One . . . I have some nice 48 Highlanders WW1 castings awaiting a home.

Al ,

Funny that you mention the stickers from TreeFrog Treasures i was thinking the same thing when i went to the Chicago Show & was walking around...I got to meet Howard aka Northgate Woods only because he was @ the K&C dispaly otherwise i could not identify anybody @ the show...
It would be a great idea for the to have some sort of Forum badge available if we want it...

Joe
