Thanks mate, I am looking forward to it being back up and running. There are still quite a few figures that I'd like to order.

I have seen US cavalry new figures in Lodon's show.{eek3}
When will we see your new website?

So, what's the scoop with Morgan Miniatures? Has Gareth built a new website yet? I see some pictures that feature his creations at the Chicago show so they're obviously still around, but is Michigan TS the only distributor these days?

Very hard to support a company when one doesn't know where to find their products. Just saying.

cheers

Thanks. It would be nice to see a web page (or even the blog) that features the range of products that are available, along with prices and some sort of e-commerce facility to actually order and buy the figures. I note that Michigan TS has some new releases that I had not seen before, but compared to what Gareth was charging for his figures on his old site, I always found MTS prices far too expensive and could not justify buying from them. I understand that Morgan Miniatures is a very small 'boutique' manufacturer and with limited manpower/resources can't do everything, but I think providing a good web access point to the company's product would be a priority. I guess this post is just the rambling of a frustrated collector who would like to support the company and buy their products but is thwarted by not being able to have a simple gateway to access their figures and purchase accordingly. I guess some things just are not meant to be :(

Thanks anyway

Hi Jules
I understand your frustration completely - Your photograph showing the standard bearer has reawakened my frustration yet again
As a collector of standard bearers I have had this one in my sights for - well I can't remember - it's been that long
was this ever released?????

I have about 40 of the "Mexican Conquest" figures....Aztecs and Conquistadores. Most of them I bought many years ago
at the London Toy soldier show. Since then I have filled in with Michigan Toy Soldiers but I do think their pricing is "up there".
They also do not "travel well" and some came in with damaged weapons and head gear.
Still they are very nice figures and quite unique in costume and weaponry.
Yes, the flag bearers are available and there are new Eagle Aztecs and mounted Conquistadores.

I was hoping that FL would come out with a similar series within their Renaissance era line. For the current prices of Morgan
I think FL could make a much improved figure.

We just opened two dozen Morgan Miniatures (14 Aztecs & 10 Conquistadores) that we have been collecting over the past 2 years this Christmas. Each one is a work of art & unique & a valuable asset to our collection. They do the best Aztecs we have ever seen.
