As mentioned earlier Mountford has produced some new items for WW1. First, a 4.7 inch British artillery piece. as can be seen it has an opening breech and elevaying barrel. Both types of wheel will be included in the kit but customers desiring painted models should specify which type of wheels they require otherwise the all metal wheels with pads will be provided. Prices are painted £69.95, kit £34.95
The second item looks at the Home Front and shows a member of the Land Army with a two horse plough. Price is £79.95 painted and £39.95 in kit form. Trooper

Thank you. Ok, dumb question. Where do I go to order?

Brad

This looks just like the old Mountford 4.7" gun, as have recently completed one fro Luiz in Brazil.

Well Done,

keep the guns rolling .......

:) :)

Good question as they are not on their web site, unless there are two Mountford's. No mention of the scale either.
Wayne.

Hi Trooper,
Thanks for the heads up, and price ranges, but as mentioned by Wayne.....these items are not on the Mountford site...how do we get around to them and when will real new sets come out...the 4.7 inch was a standing item ( minus the padded wheels ) ....by the way it was a great kit then...must be just as great now, with the plus of the selection of wheels and an opening breech.....great.....{sm4}{sm4}:salute::

When I look at their website, I don't see anything for 1/32, it's all much smaller scales. Is there some other site or list or something that lists what they offer in WW I for 1/32. Right now, I'm not seeing it.

Dave has had a lot on his hands and has not yet got round to putting them up. They will be listed in the next couple of days, in the meantime you have got all the information you need posted on here already. Trooper

Thanks, I appreciate that, but I was hoping to see if there were any other WW I items he had. I went through past Forum posts and saw that he had sold the artillery aspect of his business to Fleurbaix but then had a partnership with Alan Caton for awhile before selling remaining inventory to Yeomanry. Is he now getting back into the WW I business?

I am hoping we will see some of the Land Girls in their classic uniform

No other items available at the moment, this is a new concept. Other items are planned for and will be made available in due course. Advance notice will be given on this forum, in the meantime you can always phone Dave or email him should you wish to order. Trooper

The uniforms you illustrated are those worn in WW2, Randy. The girl ploughing wears the WW1 kit. If you want Land Army girls of WW2 you should contact Asset who has quite a few Land Army and Timber Jills. Trooper

Alan,

Thanks. I emailed Dave but the email was kicked back. I will try again and worse to worse give him a call.

I did not know the Land Girls went back that far. Now I understand why what your new figure was wearing was an outfit that looked quite different. I have seen the Asset figures but especially like the work you do.
