I did this figure about 18 years ago and thought about it when someone posted the Gone With The Wind Britains Ltd. CW figures. It's from the Imrie Risley Christmas Carol series. I trimmed down the cap on Mrs Cratchit to make the slave's bandanna and then just painted the figures. Glossy paints would work well to go with the excellent Britains figures. I'm don't know how collectors feel about mixing official pieces with conversions or figures by other makers.

Thank you. I have a number of the I/R Sherlock Holmes and A Christmas Carol figures refitted as Civil War civilians. They are separate on my shelves but were ment as a diorama of Southern folks greeting Conferate troops. No space for large-ish dioramas.

Nicely done, Scott! It's good to see someone else using Imrie-Risley figures, I'm a big fan of them.

Well, you know what I'm going to say--why not? And you're absolutely right about mixing these with the new Britains figures. They'd fit right in, and with Tradition figures, too.

Well done, prost!
