Hey guys, was wondering if any of you bought multiple vehicles of the same kind, maybe two tanks, or two armoured cars?:)

I have three Sherman Fireflies, however unfortunately one arrived broke, but I could still use it very well! Might even buy a couple more before they are retired!;)Also got two of the old Arnhem 44 Daimler armoured cars!:) 1 Missing fire courtesy of Mr...:rolleyes:Also got two 8th Army Quad and Limbers, which I am going to get painted to green for XXX Corps!:DFinally got two 'Special' British Shermans!

Anyone else got multiples, maybe to make a scene or even just cause they really like them, or think that they will be worth a lot in the FUTURE?:)

Cheers!:D

No, No and No. There are too many different models that I want to get multiples. And buying extras to speculate on value is a poor idea IMO.

No, with the realtive expense of K&C vehicles I only get one. I really wish I had bought two of the US GMC 6X6 trucks so I would have one for the Ardennes as well as the one for Normandy. I let that ship sail years ago unfortunately.

I do get multiples of my FoV trucks and tanks. I modify them to get each one a bit different that the others.

Havn't done so yet, but its possible in the future. I could easily multiply some Stugs or trucks for Bulge or Normandy. No doubting these look good in dio situations so its something I'd like to do at some point.

I only buy multiples if they are retired and it is a good price. I use for it for trade for items I don't have.

I missed the boat on the Deuce's but at $79 each/ the Opel Blitz's were a steal. I have two of them. They make for a nice convoy type scene.

Figarti on the other hand, I plan on getting several Strykers and Abrams :)

Got two CS Stug for my Arnhem battle & will buy extra Figarti British trucks when they drop in price

Yes the Opel Blitz's were a good deal. Would like to see the Opel Blitz in a Winter version. hint,hint,Andy...Ron:)

I bought the Austin light utility vehicle in the 8th Army version and the Normandy version. I also have the Citroen vehicles as well as a few Panzers. Overall I don't have a problem buying multiples. In real life where there's one tank you're going to find more of the same types of vehicles. When K&C reintroduces any given vehicle there are different camo features or colors or even different numbers on the vehicle....

Yes, two of the 105 Shermans, jeeps, ambulances, M8s, Stuarts. One for me and one for my sons. :D

When it comes to the same vehicle but in a different camo then yes I've done that. I have the new Tilly in all three versions and the Ambulance in RAF and Desert colours with green version to follow.

Agreed. I've done this with numerous releases too (ex. summer and winter Chaffee). I have never bought more than one of the exact same vehicle however. There are just too many pieces I want, limited space, budgetary issues and ultimately I'm not into creating huge dioramas where I'd need a squadron of the same vehicle. I have on occasion purchased multiples of certain figures.

I missed out on the Green Chaffee Tank, I have the Winter version however and its a great model.

Always liked mass formations, so multiples are a sad reminder of my mental insanity:(, but if one had to choose a sickness....:D

That battery of 88's are most impressive. The ambulance setup looks very realistic with all the stretchers. I like that one best.

Well Said Terry......However I would consider multiples from some manufacturers if the Tanks were "very well done" and had different turret numbers and I wanted to create a battle scene or dio
