Hi All
I hope you are all keeping well. I am a Durbar collector and was delighted to come across this Forum. I have for some time been wondering if one of the elephants in my collection as shown in the attached photo was an early version, special commission or a repaint of the Trophy of Wales Prince of Wales elephant. I have often come across the same elephant in red but never in blue. The fan-bearing attendants are also carrying fans which are of a slightly different shape to the fans held by the attendants which usually accompany the red version of this elephant. I would be most grateful for any thoughts you may have.
