Guy, Very nice scene but just remember. Shadows should not show up on the Blue sky backdrop. :salute::

That is not important, we are diorama makers, not photographers!!! That is another hobby.....

Poppo,

Your comment is like baking a 6 foot high cake and not putting icing on top !
Photography tip for lighting and shadows > Use good overhead lighting that can be moved
around, thus to avoid shadows on backdrops ! Guy goes as far as to remove the bases from
each figure and scratch build the buildings. Why not do all aspects right for the ultimate
Diorama scene ? Years ago Many of my pics here on the forum had shadows. I bought a
quality overhead photo lamp with 8 foot adjustable base 2 years ago, now shadows are a
thing of the past.

These are pics I took in my hobby room as close to the window as possible to avoid having to use "Flash"light.
This diorama will also be photgraphed by a professional photographer (with appropriate backdrop) in the coming week.
The result I am sure will be completely different and much, much better, I took these pictures because I wanted to show my diorama to all of you asap
Wait until next week I am sure the results will be better then
