My first complete set (1 Viewer)

You have talent, sir! Very nice work. They look like 25mm or so - not 54mm. Is that right?

There's nothing (well, almost nothing) like seeing your first shiny new figure pop out of the mold!

Actually the Indian Army sets are a bit larger than 54mm, more like 60mm. If you looked at the Napoleonic figures, they are more like 70mm. Since starting I'm progressively working on getting smaller and smaller, and the 54mm scale is of course my ultimate goal. I have a HUGE respect for the pros, just dropping from 70mm to 60mm I felt a big drop in the quality of my sculpting. Gotta' start somewhere, so they say. Thanks for looking.

to bad they're not matte.
anyway great figures.
paiting and molds are great.

Okay, next set is going to be matte finish. Should have it up on the Photobucket site by Wed., "44th Moplah Rifles". I'm still trying to develop a "style", so there are no rules!!! Besides, if I don't like it, all I have to do is take 'em for a dip in the clear gloss lacquer.

Correction, 77th Moplahs, and it is up at the site. The 44th were apparently so obscure they never officially existed :)

Thank you. Although this set was done nearly a year ago, I was quite fond of it for sentimental reasons. I actually sold it online just before Christmas and my little soldiers left for Australia. Of course before sending them off, I had to give the obligatory "Some of you might not make it back.." speech, actually, none of them will.
