I read that also. Those Boss set poses look nice. I wish he had done that stand up shooting thompson in plastic already. I hope he does all twenty in plastic. I can never have enough wounded or casulties. If he does the Spartans in plastic, he is going to have to do the Persians. I still would love to see his Marines and Japs, and more Germans. I hope for all you Nap. collectors, he takes up that War. I can just imagine what his version of Custer's Last Stand would look like. His sculpter is A#1 in my book. Oh to dream of all the sets I can not afford. Dream On, Mike.

Ditto on the Thomspson figure. I've just got round to trimming, un-bending, washing and scrubbing the first 27 poses today. Prime tomorrow, then start slapping some colour on 'em.
I got a couple of funny questions from the wife as to why I was trying to recreate Omaha Beach in the airring cupboard. Had to explain it was purely for drying purposes and that she hadn't lost her favourite sand coloured bath towel.

I have a feeling there are alot of us painting up our Contes. I can't wait to finish painting my first 27 poses. Then I will get started on the 57 conversion poses to go with them. I don't want to post them, until I get them just right. I hope this summer, we see alot of these Conte and TSSD dio's. I have a feeling there will be lots of beach head attacks. I did notice though on most of the GI's bases, tree leaves. I don't think these were originally going to be D-Day GI's. The good thing is, you can make it look like sand very easy. Paint On, Mike.
