The head of the squadron, the flagship of the 5th trumpet and rgt cuirassiers
So have joined my heavy cavalry (Carabineros).
Colloquially called "big brothers", they all belong to the Imperial heavy cavalry. In 1804 there are 12 regiments Cuirassiers under the command of Colonel St. Cyr. In 1809 the 13th and 14th regiments swell the ranks and a serial number is assigned to each regiment.
Those who belong to these regiments are peerless horsemen, their furious charges are ruthless.
Some pictures of staging to share.
More pictures to come with natural light.;):salute::

Very nice. Its to cold and snowy here in Wisconsin to think about photographing in natural light yet. However, when Spring weather finally gets here I plan on using natural light for some of my photos as well. Great looking photos of your new acquisitions - hope to see more . . . .

These cuirassiers look great. Can't wait to see what you do with them, as your dioramas are always such quality productions!

Nicely done. I like how you focus in on your subject as you did in your last photo of the Russian soldier preparing to meet the on rush of the French cavalry.

As another photography and FL afficionado, I love the use of selective focus on that one shot of the Russian getting ready to meet the charge - very dramatic!!

It's in all the little details that FL excels... like that embossed flag... very very nice.. He will have to come to my home too :)

Very nice pictures !
