Great looking figures as we have come to expect from JDD.

That's a really nice figure. Thanks for the photo!

Joe

Terrific figures-especially like the way the chain mail is done.Pretty cool bridge you have there Greg.

Thankyou all for the comments and likes. Would like to see where John heads with this series. Personally I would prefer a Hastings scenario. This would give more scope for developing a longer lasting series with the possibility of Norman cavalry, archers, infantry, tents and Saxon buildings. Regards Greg.

John should you as PR for his products Greg, you always put them in their best light. Robin.

That's quite an endorsement as you seem pretty knowledgeable and invested in this era. I do love the figure with the axe and shield. I plan on picking up a few figures here and there from this series. Interested to see where John takes us with this.

Works out cheaper to buy a 3 man set Chris and they are that good I will be purchasing another set this weekend Regards Greg.

Got these photos off the net. Looks like a massive diorama that some one has done in a smaller scale.

And wouldn't it be great to try and reproduce something like these two scenes. Greg.

Great looking figures. Another line I'm on the fence with.

I really like this new range. I would be all over them if I had the room. Too far committed to Saratoga and FIW. These are going to look so good all set up.

Great point!!

One of his Saxon figures I'm particularly keen on is the rear shield wall warrior thrusting his spear over top. The three man sets are really well done and look very realistic and battle tested.

I wonder how far John will take the series. The Saxon shield wall is impressive enough to be THE series all by itself.
As a collector, I'm hoping he will add Harald's Vikings and William's Normans. - This new line has some great possibilities.

I will collect these if he does the Vikings...just waiting to see how it plays out...

I am going all in on these. I can’t wait to see how the standard bearers look painted.
