I think I will go bright red coats, bleach white pants. Maybe march them through the green woods with bagpipes and drums pounding, you know to sneak up on the enemy. You mean you don't like the color?

Sounds good to me! Go ahead, I dare ya! But, being that this is the most powerful paintbrush in the world and can repaint an entire infantry column. You gotta ask yerself,Do I feel lucky? Well,do ya?

Pat and KV, thanks for the kind words. I see myself getting better, but when I look at that army of GI's staring at me, it gets a little over whelming to know they all have to be painted. I just love building things, but they ALL have to be painted.I feel like Herbie from Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Its all backing up, but I don't want to be a Dentist.Mike

If it's any consolation, I have primed my 27 and am about half way through the first lot of flesh painting, and that's it so far, so you're doing OK mate.

Mike: You are doing fine painting figures. After awhile you learn a style of painting and tricks to make it easier to paint. Yeah I know when I look at about 300 primed plastic waiting to be painted. Conte- Armies in Plastic- Italeri and many others including 1/72 scale guys. I hurry past my work area trying not to notice half built kits, FOV stuff and 21st Century sitting in boxes and all kinds of half completed figures from Historex to Britain's repairs. I have an excuse now because of my surgery but I have to face the problem soon. Hang in there. I know it can get overwhelming. Leadmen (John)

Hey! Those figures are looking good! Strange, I just finished painting exactly 27 Conte GIs myself (all the different poses). Will probaly psot pics soon. BTW I'm also starting on 29 conte Germans. Any body else painted these?

Mike, One must remember that we complete things all the time. We get dressed go to work, come home eat dinner, goof off and then go to sleep. Relax, breathe and remember it all starts one toy soldier at a time.

Well I finally got in the mood to pick up the brush, and finish those Conte GI's I started. I move at the same pace as Conte releases, but I'm pretty pleased with the results.
