My first post (1 Viewer)

Hi JP - pleased to be of some assistance - AND - my order has just gone in for the rest of the band!

What JP didn't tell - or show you - is in only the time it took to heat up his "brew" - he had cast these little semi-round beauties from his new Schneider moulds 65 and 66 - which when added to his existing mould 67 figures - means that he now has a complete set of figures to make up a band ( or several bands actually - if they are painted as different Regiments).

Here are the new ones, from a pic that JP kindly sent to me by e-mail. Careful! - they're still hot!^&grin

My first three figures from mould 67 are still "getting there" - caused by me having too many projects on the go at once - but they currently look like this - which at least gives an idea of how these new figures are going to look once they join them. JP - the cheque's in the post! johnnybach

Hi JB - Once again many thanks for your kind comments plus of course for your order (which is currently winging its way over to you) and your continued support. I know you have many projects on the go at the moment but I am really looking forward to seeing this old marching band brought back to life.

Thanks also for the tips on how to paint them - I am still struggling trying to paint my cannon crew - I have appended my first attempt at a cannon - as you can see I don’t know much about colour schemes but I have mainly used Matt enamels and tried to go for a battle-weary look!

Best regards. JP
