Wanted to post a few pics of my new warbirds from TG. In a word, fantastic! Both the Piaggio and Emily arrived in pristine condition thanks to Blake's expert packaging. They are simply amazing works of art and the Emily is massively impressive!

I concentrated on posting pictures that show the amazing detail these planes have. My photos really don't do these planes justice, but I hope you can appreciate the work and craftsmanship that went into constructing them.

You know it’s big when you have difficulty fitting the whole plane into a photo frame. A fabulous bird to be sure. Robin.

Both aircraft are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your latest collection.

Cheers,
Grey

Thanks for the comments, guys. The Piaggio is now on its perch next to the Japanese Nell bomber.

Beautiful models, MHL13!! I’m really impressed by the Emily Flying Boat which must be huge in person! I love the TGM aircraft models and while I typically collect their smaller-sized aircraft (my largest model so far is their B-26) the level of craftsmanship is always superb.

Absolutely amazing looking models, their warbirds are always incredible looking

Indeed! Wing tip to wing tip is 46 inches. Bow to stern is 36 inches, and at the top of the tail it's almost 12 inches tall while sitiing on the trolleys.

Wow! And I thought my B-26 was big, lol!

Both are certainly big boys, really impressive aircraft. Must have been very exciting to open and set up.

Thank you, Rob, and yes, I held my breath while unpacking hoping everything was in good order. I could not be more pleased.

Unless in cabinets dust would be a killer

the size and expense stops me, as I would need to place then in large cabinets

my entire collection in cabinets dust free

but nice

I have my collection in one room with an air purifier running 24/7. The door to the room is always kept closed, but some very light dust still accumulates. A dusting brush and a can of compressed air (at a distance) takes care of the dust issue.

I don’t got he air purifier route, but regular dusting with a feather duster and compressed air can works for my TGM planes as well.

Ive got huge TGM planes sitting on my bookshelf protruding out as you just cant get display cabinets big enough to completely house them.

Been there for nearly 10 years some of them and you dont even need an air purifier. just monthly spray with a can of air and a light dusting and they still look perfect. keep a window slightly open. dust is not a killer.
