I've got a new staff car for my Germans but this little "fixer-upper" has certainly seen better days. Although the history buffs will certainly recognize the sporty French car as belonging to General Friedrich Kussin, my "Arnhem Ambush" has been pictured in 1945 Berlin. What plans might be obtained from the dead officer? The Red Army would certainly like to know.

Critical Perspective: The K&C Citroën Traction staff car is nicely detailed with chipped paint bullet holes, two "stay-in-position" open doors, and a stationary dead driver. I love the green tiger striped paint scheme, esp. unique among my personal K&C collection; and the dead General is a nice addition. I was a little surprised to discover that only the rear tires turn; although this little vehicle won't be rolling off one's book shelf or table display. Price is a bit high at $179 considering one can almost purchase a tank for this price but the detailing is superb.

Comments welcome.

Love this set, could not wait for it to be released. Nice to see it being used in a different location other than Arnhem. Robin.

Nice one Wo.
I will use mine in the Falaise "road of death" diorama I have in mind and which I will make sometime during next winter

Well done WO! I agree, it's a little pricey but the detail on the vehicle is excellent and as you have shown, it can be used in many different dio scenario's and theatres of War. I'm going to do a dio with mine sometime this year.

Thanks Robin - I had purchased the separate dead German a number of months ago but for whatever reason, held off until now.

Great idea WO and setup.
Thanks Wayne

Look forward to seeing that, Guy.

Thanks Tom - looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Wish i could just buy the figure lying on the ground.
At least they offer one that goes with the set. You could always pick up the car for some added fun.;)

The pic below WO has to be one of your best so far. Brilliant mate, well done.
