What do you guy's think of this. This is a Mini Art kit that I have made but not finished. They take alot of work as nothing goes together well with them. Alot of bogging and sanding and adding extras to go here. I will post more pictures as I go to show you the progress and how this diorama will change from this to hopefully a nice piece. Simmo.:salute::

Simmo,

great to see the Mini Art dioramas with K&C figures.

A friend of mine here in Perth is assembleing and painting some, but to go with 1/35 scale vehicles and figures (that I'm painting for him). He's an architect so its a bit like work, but does a wonderful job with the finer deatils.

I hope to get some to display my NAPs :)

Very nice Look forward to seeing it completed

Great start, Simmo!

Thos MiniArt kits are great, aren't they? And a large selection of pieces.

Prost!

Hi Simmo

The MiniArt kits have fascinated me for a while. The 1:35 scale seems to go well with K&C. But I'm intrigued by your your words "They take alot of work as nothing goes together well with them. Alot of bogging and sanding and adding extras to go here."

I'm looking at buying some of the of the German and East European facades with the base being the street sections including tram lines.

Do you recommend the kits? You seem very experienced in making dioramas. I'd value any other comments you'd make.Ta

Hi Mate how you going. I like these kits alot but they do take alot more work than any other plastic kit you have made. They are vacuum formed I think that is the word for it meaning you cut out Two pieces and stick them together to make one piece. Not much room for gluing along the sides you are gluing. Sanding and bogging is a big must with these kits but well worth it for the price. You live in Brisbane so send me a email and I will help you out all I can. Even a visit to my place so I can show you some tricks I have picked up building these kits. I am working on a couple of these kits right now and under coated one just a couple of hours ago. I hope this is of some help. Simmo.

Thanks Simmo - I will make contact soon. I'd love to see what you're doing. I have a few other options to look at but I think the variey of buildings from MiniArt has won me over. Re-painting a model is one thing but doing what you're doing is completly new to me so I will take-up your offer. Regards. Rob

Along with the others I'm looking forward to seeing it finished Simmo.
