Couldn't wait to photograph K&C's new Kettenkrad with Trailer. It's a bit pricey IMO, but a nice piece. I love the driver. The trailer is much lighter than the vehicle but attaches well and can be pulled by other vehicles with a hitch. Front wheel of Kettenkrad is molded in place (does not turn). Overall, a great addition to the grey collection. Would not mind seeing a desert version.

Nicely done Wo, I have a question : is the driver fixed to the seat or not . If not then I am interested?

I prefer by far the TG version of this...More details( in the KC one a light is missing), much better tracks, the driver not fixed, and a thin shape close to the original one.

I agree Poppo...and you forgot to add that cost half the price...
You are not the only one who think so.
I like both models, but in a diorama everything counts.{sm4}

Not much of a comparison. It wouldn't help me decide whether to buy the K&C or TGM model or buy either of them at all

Mine has the missing light, clean tracks and actual cut-outs for the holes in the roadwheels. :) It can be had for $100 - $110 on ebay (they do come up for sale) It comes with 3 figures. The driver is fixed in place and the front wheel doesn't turn but has excellent detail. IMO it is far better than the TGM version at $99 (less detail including the road wheels) and $129 for the new K&C version. The resale market is cheap and there are many examples of an older K&C model being better than anything produced today by most of the manufacturers.

I know it's not missing on my model. i was referring to the light not included on the new model. It was sometimes broken off or removed but I have only ever seen one photo from WWII with it missing out of a few hundred photos. So not having it on the model isn't really wrong

Sometime in 1944 the front light was ordered to be omitted from new production but there are very few photos from WWII of a K without the front light.
