Well after much anticapation, and a little worry, my VEH 001 Stug arrived Monday afternoon, the worry part is to say when you invest a good chunk of money into a product that you have never seen or touched in person is a little bit of a blind leap of faith even after alot of reviews, so with that being said, here is my review.
after opening and carefully unwrapping I sat with my VEH 001 for about 2 hours and just admired this wonderful tank!!! of course being my first First Legion vehicle I was curious aout the non-polystone material, since that is all I ever had was polystone, but once I held the tank the weight was a non-issue, the detail and sturdiness of the tank are second to none, the painting is perfect, as well as all the smaller detail, love my recognition flag!!! also love the two crewmen as well.
We all have our favorites on the forum, lots of manufacturers to choose from, but in the end you collect what you think is the best out there, I mean were spending good coin on whatever we buy, and when I came aboard with First Legion back in February I was kinda like am I making the right choice?? a little more exspensive, but I went with what looked to me to be the most authentic and realistic WWII thing going, so I am glad I listened to myself, First Legion WWII is absolutely unreal, already looking forward to my next vehicle as well as some more infantry.
to the staff at First Legion, please keep up the great work, with the same quality and craftmenship, and thanks again for making this hobby a even more joy to be in...Sammy
