Rob,
I hope you don't mind me showing some of my TAW's in your thread, but I'd like to show what I did with castings when I wanted Aussie WW1 troops and so Graham Petit supplied me with the Aussie heads and I've painted in matte finish.
18 Pd on the Somme 1918
8 Inch Howitzer Somme 1918
And also some Scottish
Gordons
Black Watch (gloss)
more Black Watch (gloss)

John
Nice collection guys. Stuff is very interesting.
Hey Rob,
did it snow yet on your base?
Konrad
Rob
Your snow scenes are very evocative of the cold winter trudge of these troops. The pack camels are wonderful.
Randy
Very nice.
I have never seen that sheepskin outfit before. Who are they and what are they carrying?
Terry
Awsome, Rob,
phantastic figures.
They look really cool, .... and cold too
You know, I love to see these sets at least just as much as your recent fine settings with your K&C figures, maybe even just a little bit more
Konrad
Some really nice looking sets there Rob, thanks for sticking the pics up for us.
Now, 'fess up, how much snow made it back in to the tub, and how much is all over the carpet...
Terry,
the set is the Wire Party carrying rools of barbed wire and the screw poles that were put in to hold the wire.
I have this old picture of the one I painted,
sorry about the quality.
John
