My visit to the JJD UK Stand at the June London Show - John Jenkins " in person!!!! "

Hello again - doesn't time fly! I visited the June London Show yesterday ( 8th June 2013). Another winning display from the JJD UK Team. This time however an unexpected innovation.

James and Adam had set up a live link with non other than John Jenkins himself. They had a small screen set up and he was watching the show from Hong Kong. He startled quite a few people

I can tell you!! Visitors to the stand could ask him questions or just have a good old chat! He was really entertaining, has a great sense of humour. A good time was had by all!

For the first time I actually met some Treefroggers. Louis, Rob and Pete. ( Had a great chat with Pete - thanks Pete! )

I shall post a few general pics of the Show, then the Stand, chats with John and then pics of the products on the excellent display.

Please bear with me as I shall post them in groups. Please also note that it was a very bright day which tends to play havoc with the colours in my pics. ( A bit of controversy
about that on my last London Show posting! )

I'd be the first to admit, when I saw pictures of the ACW Marines, my first thought was 'whatever', however after seeing them in the flesh, they are superb.

Well that's about it. I'd just like to thank James and Adam and indeed the man himself John Jenkins for a such a great, fun filled visit.

An extra special one this time for me that's for sure!

Thank you so much for doing an excellent job and posting these pictures.

The Lt C. B. Arnold tank commander figure looks really good. I cannot wait for his fellow crewmen to join him! Also, looking forward to more of the same.

I am also tempted to order the Rolls Royce Armoured Car, although, I wonder if JJD will release a camouflage paint version in the future?

Anyway, one can only hope.

Thank you OD, very kind of you. Yes, It was a great idea to have the live link with John - knocked me out for sure! John didn't say what plans he had for the ACW Marines. I rather got the impression that it depended on the success
of the current figures as to how he develops the series.
