Mysterious Roman Objects (1 Viewer)

I'm always interested in mystery objects, but it gets more difficult each year to sort the fact from fiction.

The following video demonstrates one of the most mind blowing ancient objects I've seen:

The Antikythera Mechanism

Forget about Aliens etc, clearly there were some very clever people back in Ancient Human History.

One of many videos about the mechanism.

Yes, it's interesting hearing suggestions as to what things were actually for, some being obvious others not so.
And of course even though something may be invented in one culture, another culture may find a totally different use tor it, the Magnetic Compass, being a prime example, invented by the Chinese, but first used by them for feng shui, rather than Navigation, as it's true value proved to be, when it reached the West last time I heard anyway, but history and facts all seem to be more "fluid" these days, and I expect China has other thoughts on that history and fact, these days, where pride and face saving is the order of the day.

And a follow on video, including the reveal of the mystery object !
