I absolutely am obssesed with the King and Country Crusaders.
however, I have noticed that my beloved range does not hve an abreviation.
I know tht CRUSADES is not long but it deserves a proper one just like the ACW AWI WW2 WW1.
I'm eager to hear suggestions

If there already is one pm me so I can erase this as soon as possible and not look like an idiot!

Crusades................................Just Kidding, i dont know if any abreviation would be needed since its only one word, but maybe Cru

K&C calls the series "Cross and Crescent", so why not "C&C" as the abbreviation?

I don't think Cross And Cresent Armies would have a good abbreviation. :)

Hi Alex,

:D:D:D

I certainly agree with you, Alex! The abbreviation would not reflect well on the honorable King and Country Company!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Or since im sure its Crusades: Cross and Crescent it could be CCC but i also like C&C

Here in Ireland there's a company called C&C. (The name is an abbreviation of Cantrell and Cochrane, soft drinks makers who merged with the Bulmers cider brewing company. Bulmers don't have the rights to the name outside Ireland and so sell cider as Magners. In fact Bulmers used to make it at close to 8 or 9% in the good old days but gentrified it a little by cutting the alcohol content to 4 or 5% and charging double the price for a pint bottle of what a plastic 2 litre bottle once cost from the off-licence, so customers probably don't associate Magners with what was once strong enough to be paint-stripper, household disinfectant etc).

I just couldn't imagine Saladin with a pint bottle of cider, pouring its contents over ice.

Instead of Cross and Crescent, why not TC? After all The West was abbreviated as TW.

Sorry Mate, TC will forever be associated with Top Cat......one of the best cartoon series ever. Why not just call it the Cruz?
:):D;):):)
Cheers

Ah but Cruz had connotations of Penelope Cruz and Tom Cruise, of which I'd greatly prefer the former to the latter.

As for Top Cat, well Hanna Barbera did better. Btw was Mutley the same dog in 'Catch the Pigeon' as 'Wacky Races' or did they just use similar sketches?

Crusades could be renamed J for Jerusalem?

How about J for "Jeez, these are such good figures".
Uummm....the Cruz for Penelope was the obscure connotation I was meaning....LOL.
Yup, Mutley was the same hound in both sketches. He was Dick Dasterdly's side-kick in both and Penelope Pitstop was lush.
As for top cat, "Gee officer Dibble".....I thought TC and his gang was one of H&B's greatest creations.
Isn't it amazing the tangents and nonsense we go down on this forum? (Heh-Heh) :):D:D:eek::cool:
Cheers Mate

How about the this one that would represent the cross and the crescent w/ star?

tc*

Okay, maybe not.
