NAP0167 General Edouard Colbert (2 Viewers)

:salute::
We are pleased to present you with a new series for our Napoleon's Europe range, Famous Mounted Personalities. For this series we have selected some of the most colorful characters of the era, specifically selecting those with extremely detailed and ornate uniforms. We are extremely proud of these figures and the first one, NAP0167 General Edouard Colbert, is now available for pre-order with a ship date of early August 2009. We expect to release about 1 of these figures every few months or so, so stay tuned for more announcements and check our workbench to see images of the sculpts of the next figurse in the series.

Without further adieu, we present you General Edouard Colbert at Waterloo 1815. Note the superbly sculpting rearing horse standing only it's hind legs sprining foward in the charge. No artificial grass supports either, as these highly detract from the aesthetics. Producing pieces such as this is normally reserved for figures costing 3 times as much! We are only producing 150 of each piece in this series of figures. It is probably our finest piece ever.

NAP0167 - General Edouard Colbert - $159.95

Matt, I wouldn't mind seeing this figure "re-released".....I would buy one for sure.:salute::

It is a great piece, I hope that it does get re-released, And with some reinforcements. He is a centerpiece to any collection. But he is getting lonely in my Book Case.so please Matt. :smile2:

You are a "lucky duck" to have NAP0167 General Edouard Colbert...I wish I could find one....Matt please consider re-leasing this beautiful figure for those of us a little late to the FL Nap party.....First Legion Rules:salute::

As part of the Mounted Personalities line of the Napoleonic line he and they are and were limited to 150 pieces once they are gone thats it there will be no more and that is why they are called limited editions . The molds are crushed using a polystone tank never to be used again , I look at these figures as the icing on my First Legion cake . When Blücher and Gneisenau are released I plan on buying two of each , one to display and one as a back up just in case I should drop or damage one . I always look around on evilbay and i must say I don't think I have ever seen a First Legion General Edouard Colbert figure up for resale and I can understand why it's probably the best single figure in this series they have done . Lord Uxbridge and Ney are also FANTASTIC and IMO are not to be missed .. keep a look out who knows maybe someday some will need the money . good luck my friend in your quest.... regards Gebhard

Gebhard is correct, they are limited edition figures. Though some are 150, others 200. Each one will say at the bottom of the catalog page how many were made.

That saddens me that A mold of Such a great looking piece was destroyed/ Crushed. But it reminded me of a Manufacturer That Contacted me saying that, After so many pieces was Made, If they made anymore, It will have defects on it already.And, That it would be unfair, to sell it to the public.
I am Hoping that Some Red Lancers would Be made in the Future, And Maybe a New casting Of General Colbert, in a different pose.
