We are also pleased to start the pre-order of the final batch of the Gordon Highlanders. This final release brings our total coverage of this historic regiment up to 31 total figures (30 codes). This release adds the Mounted Officer, a casualty and casualty two figure vignette, additional standing firing figures, a cheeky Highlander taunting the french, and an aggressively posed advancing figure. Our coverage of this regiment is by far the most complete ever produced and, though each figure looks great in its own right, it's the powerful combinations that really bring them to life. And with this many figures, even the largest dioramas are free from the repetition that so often comes with massed figure displays. So build up a square or four rank line of battle and aggressively face down the French Carabiniers and Cuirassiers!

These figures are now available for pre-order on our website and will be shipping to customers in late June 2011.

NAP0270 92nd Gordon Highlander Helping Wounded Comrade - $119.95
NAP0271 92nd Gordon Highlander Dead - $59.95
NAP0272 92nd Gordon Highlander Mounted Major - $139.95
NAP0273 92nd Gordon Highlander Taunting the French - $59.95
NAP0274 92nd Gordon Highlander Bandaged Head Yelling - $59.95
NAP0275 92nd Gordon Highlander Advancing - $59.95
NAP0276 92nd Gordon Highlander Standing Firing - $59.95

Matt, this says it all. The extensive nature of your releases is one of the major selling points and you have certainly gone the extra mile here. Very impressive!

Re: NAP-NAP0276 Gordon Highlanders Pre-Order

It is truly amazing to have so many great poses to choose from for this set. I am afraid I will just have to choose them all and then some.^&cool Ironically, the competition for my FL dollars is now rather substantial but it is coming from FL.:wink2: No doubt that is a good dilemma to have.

Bill, I think there are a lot of us who can relate. As this company grows in the number of ranges and releases, this seems to becoming more common. It seems everyday there is some type of comment to this effect "If I wasn't collecting range A already, I would be all over range B. And range C looks great too."

I think I have said this myself a time or two!

These all look great , I realy like the advancing figure I,d love to see some highlanders in a good old charge at some point in the future.
But these guys will decemate my budget for a while yet that is for sure.

Greeting fellow FL NAPS advocates: I just recieved my first order of FL Naps: (5) French Cuirassiers and the Lord Uxbridge figure{bravo}}{bravo}}.....Simply Amazing Work....I now understand the NAP collectors enthusiasm for FL Naps.....The detail, paint and especially the "proportions" on these horsemen is simply the best....very impressive.... First Legion's mantra: "you can collect toys or you can collect history" certainly applies to these figures...Very realistic...Well Done FL.....NAP addicted

I am sure you know what you got yourself into... and can only wish you luck and deep pockets.

LOL LOL {sm4}......well they are pricey:wink2:...but when you consider "alternatives" from other TS manufacturers the quality/price ratio is not far off line

First legion make a superb product , but with repeated comments like this you are a poor ambasador for the hobby .

Welcome to the joy that is collecting Napoleonic figures First legion style :salute:: That's a pretty large order for your first , I started with one . With the Calvary figures i choose to add about one a month or so to my orders , as there is no rush i can mix them in with the other products I have interest in . I'm not sure what you have an interest in , does it hinge around an overall interest in the period ? The study of the uniformology of the different armies ? An interest in a certain combatant say France , Russia , Prussia , England or some of the smaller nations of the time ? Or is it a particular battle ? Its interesting to see what makes Napoleonic collectors tick ... Its a great group of collectors over here who collect the Napoleonic line for whatever reason and I have made friends all around the world , and that makes the hobby much more enjoyable because lets face it , its hard to find people in the real world who share our passion .. whichever it is First Legion have plenty on offer... welcome aboard and enjoy the ride :wink2:.. Regards Gebhard

What is wrong with an accurate comment? That doesn't mean anyone isn't free to like what they like but they do cost more and they do deliver more; there is nothing really controversial or offensive to anyone about that. The price/value ratio is well appreciated for any of us who collect any of their lines. There is no need to build up the molehills is there?:)

NAP0205 Is the standout piece for me ordered mine today having seen a friends initial Highlander order. NAP0262 and NAP0270 are very nice and on my order list although I have not seen these two in the flesh as yet. I am in two minds about taking a large number of the Gordon Highlanders as a large square of Scotsmen putting my British Gaurds square to shame just wouldnt be cricket. Eagerly Looking forward to the 95th Rifles release and hopefully More Gaurds in the future in different poses or alternatively a comprehensive British Line regiment.

Despite my occassional observational complaint I am delighted with the way my collection has come together. The Scottish regiments played a pivotal part in the period I think FL has done them Justice. Please can we have some British Heavies before we see the Scots Greys

NAP0205 is a beautiful figure as is NAP0204 :wink2: so far of the first 13 of this line that I have I have to say NAP0213 92nd Gordon Highlander Standing - Intoxicated is the standout for me . I'm not saying he is the best done but the look on his drunk face is just fantastic and Fat boys not bad either . Looking forward to getting my next batch , the work that went into producing these guys is just tremendous don't think we will see the like of them again if ever . Regards Gebhard
