NAP0563-NAP0575 Retreat from Russia Burning of the Eagles! (1 Viewer)

Hi

Firstly, I think the figures are great, my diorama for this series is a group of French soldiers tramping through the snow, I have all the current releases [except the sledges, too expensive for me when compared what else I can but for the same money from TG, JJ and K & C, but they are great]

Well, so do yourself your own sledge as I did....Cost: zero euros...^&grin

Here's my set, the Burning of The Eagles, by Tradition of London.

I painted them all, and have the 3 sets ... Retreat, Rearguard and Burning, which comprise about 30+ figures {eek3}

(these beauties have just arrived){eek3}
... At the end of the afternoon of November 28, faced with the dark reality of the situation in which the ragged remains of the Grande Armée were, Napoleon ordered the fire of the banners and many objects of the 'army to prevent them from falling into the hands of the enemy: historians' clash' on this fact, but for me it's just this scene reproduced by my favorite manufacturer that I like.
Best.
Guy. :salute::

The ADC doesn't belong to any particular unit/regiment or corps, he is attached to the Emperor and wears a non standard uniform. His job is to assist the Emperor and to carry messages to the commanders in the field. They wore very colorful uniforms so that they could easily be seen on the battlefield. I can't see him in my resources books, but they don't have info on ADCs

I hope this helps,
