In case you missed the news the Empereur came back from Elba yesterday and landed at Golfe Juan like that very day 200 years ago!

OK this was just a reenactment to celebrate the beginning of his 100 days and the bicentennial celebration of Waterloo this year. This looked like a pretty cool event though:

Okay, digging out my webbing now - but I want an SLR or a Jimmpy - and I''m not doing that standing up thing - shoving stuff down the barrel - with a big white cross across a red jacket! I'll be one of the ones lying down, in a cool green jacket - somewhere on the ridge. jb^&grin
