Napoleon in Egypt (1 Viewer)

Very nice! It is very funny that you use the del Prado dromidery, as I was planning on using him too, but converting him to a more "guarding" position. Tell me- is that the 4 feathers weaver- I was thinking of using him for my Durbar- do you like him?

I got it awhile back when I bought the "Rug Merchant Building" from a company I can't remember the name ^&confuse - these were the only available desert buildings at the time. He seems to work well with the K&C figures - he came with the building so I kept him. Really think this range has many more wonderful releases ahead ! :smile2:

I agree.........I just love the Napoleon in Egypt series and lookforward to more releases. In another post Andy had noted that he is trying to make some of the newer series more open to small vignettes vs huge multi figure battle scenes, and N in Egypt seems geared to that. Photo below is me fooling around with making some desert senics that I can use for single or 2zie 3zie figure vignettes. Base is a hotel key with some epoxy putty (yet to be completely spread on the base), tree is from a model railroad pack. Stone wall is a resin piece I picked up somewhere. In process layout, but I will finish it up and paint it. Backdrop is one of my oil paintings I made up for just such photography.

Figure not glued to base, so I can exchange it and keep a fresh look on my display shelves.
